Dependent- The observed variable in an experiment or study whose changes are determined by the presence or degree of one or more independent variables
Control - The group of test subjects left untreated or unexposed to some procedure and then compared with treated subjects in order to validate the results of the test.
Experimental - In an experiment, the group exposed to the treatment, that is, one version of the independent variable

In the fake prison experiment, it was unethical because many of the prisoners were punished even when they did nothing wrong. Also, they were held against their will and the researcher was too involved.
