3. The teacher gives a hand out with blended paragraphs and reads the story again while the students order them putting a number.
4. How about doing this, before giving Ss a story to read?
1. Previously, work the main vocabulary meaning and use images, if possible;
2. Use cards about the main words and ask the Ss to put them in order, according to what they guess   it happens in the story;
3. After, read the story to the Ss and ask them to check if the order of cards matches, if not, they put them in the correct order;
4. In order to motivate students and check their comprehension, give Ss the words worked previously, and then ask them to read the sentences on envelopes hung on the wall and put the word that better fits the sentences inside it.
5. To check the students's comprehension, ask them to retell the story to a partner without reading and the partner reads the story and checks if the story was told correctly.
