It encompasses all aspects of a topic - interdisciplinary (content: math, science, reading, etc.) and intradisciplinary (concept: growth, rebellion, peace). Therefore, rigor is a learning experience that meets a child wherever he/she is (zone of proximal development) and offers cognitive challenge. It addresses all kinds of learners (multiple intelligences: visual, kinesthetic, auditory, etc.).&nbsp;<br><br>Challenges?  problem-based (solve an authentic problem), authentic audience</div>]]></description>
