The feedback was boosting, because 1. the “philosophy” at the foundation (upcycling, luxycling, etc.) and 2. the final goal of my business-to-be (education of Roma girls and women). Then, as a general observation and strength, there is no legal impediment in pursuing my endeavor. 

My project is not at all business as usual. I hope my idea will be copied as many times as possible all around the world! Yes, it requires sewing abilities or at least one skilled person to build a community, but it needs an utmost paradigm shift at the grass root (consumer-wise) and – maybe most importantly – at the highest levels of making decisions and influencing people’s minds (big manufacturers, governments, stardom, academia).

The most delicate matters in my business plan were pricing and delivery. Since I intend to create unique pieces which require pretty much work, some of respondents said they would pay as much they do now for a designer’s item, while some said they would prefer simple stuff, yet unique, but not very expensive. Then, they questioned the real sustainability of my “clothing philosophy” through its eco footprint perspective when I had to recognize that, despite hoping to sell everything locally, if I am asked to ship an item overseas, I would do that. In other words, I was told something I already knew, i.e. my business model will become really sustainable when it is multiplied thousand times and “checks” for localism.

Bottom-line: I am no more “imperfect” than anyone, hence I was heartfully encouraged to get started as soon as possible.
