This begs the question, then; how can we adapt to use these new tech discoveries in the classroom? From automating assessment (see: Plickers) to interactive whiteboards (see: Smartboard), integrating technology into the classroom has never been easier. I believe that we have to be careful, though, as to not let technology take the place of actual instruction - it should be a supplement. When technology and proper teaching methods work in harmony, I believe that that is the most effective classroom environment possible. Smart classrooms are a thing of the future, and like any new technology, we have to learn how to adapt to it and how to use it in our lives.
