It took a filming of his death, nationwide outrage and 2 entire months for all of George Floyd's killers to be arrested. “This is a great thing happening for our country,”’ President Trump said.

He is charged with many things. However, although there are videos of him shooting people, there have been over a million dollars in fundraising to help him. "About 15 minutes before the first shooting, police officers drive past Mr. Rittenhouse, and the other armed civilians who claim to be protecting the dealership, and offer water out of appreciation. Mr. Rittenhouse walks up to a police vehicle carrying his rifle and talks with the officers"(NY times). While Kyle may be in jail,many predict he will be let go. Why? Because he is white. Although prejudice has a negative connotation, the word can also be used to one's advantage. Kyle is not dead because of his privilege. However, George Floyd was accused of something with no evidence of and he is dead. The same theme is shown through TKAM 80 years prior to Tom Robinson. It is not okay to treat anybody differently because of the color of their skin.
