1. For people giving away short durations of booking or short notice agreements; E.g. ‘I have booked the oven for a week but something has gone wrong today, so it’s free’, etc. A Teams channel/chat would allow all booking holders to easily let others know if they aren’t going to be using their booking. 

2. In the case of short duration bookings, the teams channel/chat also addresses the MMaT team’s  issue of not knowing people have ‘sublet’ their booking as a result of verbal/direct Teams message agreements. With users channel, a written agreement via Teams post/group message acts as documentation and as notification for the MMaTT that a changeover is happening.

3. A way to ask for technical advice if a piece of equipment exists within the BCI, for help finding someone more experienced, etc. eliminating the painstaking task of hunting for it.
