<title>I have tried a conversation with my ESLs, but they seem unaware of what&#39;s going on. Probably when we return to school there will be more discussion around the topic. Listening and truth will be the main tools.</title>

<title>As an Emotional Support Teacher, I often asks students every morning how are they feeling. Often they focus on 3 main feeling, Angry, Sad, and Happy. They have no ideas of feelings such as anxiety, frustration, despair. Helping children understand these feelings and being able to communicate them in a safe place.</title>

<title>Apart of morning or afternoon meetings should be around current events. &quot; Our classrooms cannot cocoon our students from the real world. We can begin talking through not only the recent violence in our country, but broader instances of systemic oppression related to white supremacy, anti-immigration sentiment, racism, and LGBTQ discrimination. &quot;</title>
