Having never seen this before, I like the clear color coding that allows for parents to see when computer/internet safety is being discussed and taught in school. This is a good guide for parents to have conversations with teachers or their child.

I really liked the article about current news stories and the effect they have on kids. The tips for keeping news age appropriate is extremely important. Parents today are allowing their kids to watch everything that they are watching and current event news can be very scary for little kids.

I like this contract that the parents and children can enter into in order to create a healthy "diet" of media consumption. We were lucky to view "Screenagers" last night before our PTA meeting and it was scary how children (and adults) are becoming addicted to screen time. This contract can help children understand the importance of a balance of screen time and time away from technology.
