Definition:
The red flag appeal to authority is a distraction that endorses the person who is advertising for a specific claim and their views, not the truth of the actual quality of a product or service.
Connection:
This video demonstrates the appeal to authority red flag because Kim Kardashian, a well-known celebrity, is promoting the salads at Carl's Jr. The presentation of the meal in a real situation will not be accurate to the way that Kim Kardashian portrays it to be. Her celebrity persona influences the beliefs of her fans.

It has been called the "Healing power of nature by a few people."

Definition:
The red flag suppression by authorities is a claim that authorities are hiding information from citizens for only the benefit of themselves. Usually the reason for hiding these claims is to make money. The main types of authorities that hide information are the governments and larger industries.
Connection:
A good Connection of suppression by authorities is that many citizens claim the government already has a cure for cancer. Since its a good way for the government to make a lot of money, people think the government holds back on giving out the cure to cancer.
http://whale.to/cancer/kelley/app3.html
