Have you ever seen such a magical story?

Harry Potter’s movies marked a before and after in fantastic cinematography because of its groundbreaking stories and outstanding cast. The british saga is made up of eight great movies that explore the wizarding world which includes magical creatures, exciting adventures and mystical places. In this case we will talk about the first movie “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s stone” 

The movie starts with an orphan kid called Harry Potter that had been living with his abusive aunt and uncle until he finds out on his 11th birthday that he was going to go to a wizarding school called Hogwarts and that he had been a special boy for the wizards community since he was a baby because of his scar. In Hogwarts he meets his future best friends Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. On the other hand, we get to know the traditions of the school like a cool magical hat that decides which house you are in (gryffindor, slytherin, hufflepuff and ravenclaw) and in this film it is also introduced the principal villain, Voldemort. As the movie goes on it presents an interesting story and climax that you will have to see with your own eyes. 

Although this is the most childish film from the Harry Potter’s saga it is certainly an unforgettable magical experience. The main characters in this movie are Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint who have incredible talent and chemistry between them which makes you empathize with them. Also special effects were really advanced for the time (2001) and they are still considered good nowadays. 

This movie used to be our favorite when we were children but we recommended a 100% for both adults and kids. This movie and the others are available now in HBO max in case you would like to watch it. We hope you enjoy it. 

This summer, I was in Brazil and wanted to do something productive, so I decided to buy a book. I went to a library, and all the books there were so much cheaper than in Chile. There were so many books there that I didn’t know which one to pick; they had so many options.

After twenty minutes of searching, I finally chose Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. It is a book about a boy named Harry Potter, who on his eleventh birthday received a letter from Hogwarts saying that he was a wizard and was going to go to the wizarding school. Before going there, he used to live with his uncles, who treated him very badly.

After arriving in Hogwarts, he had been learning all about charms and potions, but unfortunately not everything was good there; he went through a lot, but I do not want to give any spoilers. I had never been so in love with a book before; it is really good; the writing, the plot, the characters—everything is just perfect. It really connects you with this other world that is magical.

There are also the Harry Potter movies, but I don’t think it is the same thing because it doesn’t have the same magic around it, and the movies don’t bring you the same experience because there are so many things that happen in the books that aren’t in the movies. But the actors are truly amazing; they started when they were eleven years old and still managed to do a really great job.

When I was little, my family and I used to go to an Italian restaurant at least once a month. It was at a walking distance from our house and it was not that expensive, so it was easy to go to. We always had an excellent evening at that place, the food would be amazing and the waitress would serve us with extra kindness; all of the staff already knew us well, I mean, we were already considered family there. Once, when I was around 5 years old, we were having our usual meal (a margarita pizza for my parents and a pepperoni pizza for me), I was about to take the first bite of my pizza when a car came crashing through the window, it left a lot of people injured so it was something that left my mind in blank and had me confused for a while. After we had recovered from the surprise, we all went home silently. My mom was the most nervous after the episode of we all, but she already had been struggling with anxiety due to her extremely energy taking job (she was a well recognized surgeon; she is now retired), but she figured out a way to cope with it, and within a month was totally over it. In my case till this day I am afraid that something similar could happen again to me, my husband and our children. I love them so much, I could not live without them (I don’t want myself hurt either).

The picture begins with two characters that knew each other as children, they fell in love and got married when they were really young. They spent their lives together and when they got older, Ellie got sick and died leaving Carl all alone. Now is when the plot begins, when Russell (a Boy Scout who tries to help elderly people to achieve a medal) met Carl and they end up having an adventure together. 

Ellie’s dream had always been to live in “Paradise Waterfall” in Venezuela. As children she and Carl had been imagining new adventures and they used to write those dreams in a special book. Carl wanted to honor her memory and that is the reason that triggers Carl and Russell’s journey.

We were thinking about the different lessons that this film teaches us and we agree that love is what drives us to do even impossible things, but friendship is very important too. Furthermore when you see how an old man can become the best friend of a little boy. That is something you don’t see every day.

One of the strengths of “Cars” is it’s visual design and great animation; not only the landscapes are beautiful and accurate, the characters are fabulous too, each car is given a unique personality and appearance that helps bring the world of the movie to life. Additionally, the original soundtrack of “cars” was perfect with songs like, “live in a highway”, “real gone” and “our tower” a complete memorable list.

Another standout feature is its charming story, the way it’s told and the meaning behind it, it teaches humility and empathy, through a well done character development; apart from that, while the story is aimed at children it appeals to adults as well thanks to its light hearted humor.

Even though the movie released when we were newborns, this wasn’t an impediment for us to enjoy the movie and it keeps a very special place in our hearts. It had become our favorite since the first moment we watched it.

“Spiderman into the spiderverse” is an animated movie that was released in 2018 that tells an interesting story about an adolescent who lives in Brooklyn, New York, this kid whose name is Miles Morales, becomes a new version of spiderman by being bitten by a radioactive spider while he’s painting a wall at his uncle’s house but he has to learn how to control his arachnid powers, because a great power comes with a great responsibility. There’s a huge multiverse of different spidermans, just like Ghost-Spider,Peni Parker, Spider Gwen, Spider-Man Noir, among others and to save all of the dimensions where the others came from, he has to destroy the collisioner that was being built by Kingping and Dr Octavius, to try to bring back Kingping’s family because they passed away. This movie took 4 years to complete and every minute took one week to animate. The soundtrack of this movie had been made by lots of different artists just like Lil Wayne, Juice WRLD, Swavay and Jaden Smith. The most famous track is Sunflower made by the famous singer Post Malone, which was a hit in that year. Also this movie had been releasing before the death of Juice WRLD, which was on 8 of december of 2019. The franchise of this movie used to do no-animated movies before this because of the difficulty around not having previously worked with this type of element. In conclusion this movie was very successful because of the known musicians that created the soundtrack and also by the great work they did with the animation.
