Children are my great passion in life, I think almost everything I do is related to them. I have two little cousins and in less than a month I will have a baby sister, I couldn't be more happy. I work at a marketing department and this is another thing that makes me happy because i simply LOVE to create images in photoshop and now I get paid for it. At the time, he worked at Leya and spent around one hour trying to convince it was a good idea to bring this book series to Brazil. It was denied once, but Raphael was persistent. It ended up being a witty deal because since no publisher wanted Game of Thrones, the copyrights were not so expensive. Today, he is ambassador of the official HBO exhibition.

Second thing is actually obvious: his name is not Raphael Draccon. It is a common and Brazilian name: Rafael de Albuquerque. Since he is a fantastic author, he choosed a pseudonym that was consistent to his profession.

Number three: he is married to another Brazilian author. Her name is Carolina and they have been together for six years. One of the most expected things from theirs fans is to read something they wrote together. 

The fourth is related to the third. Raphael and Carolina nowdays live in Los Angeles. They worked for more than a year in a visa for aliens with extraordinary ability – one of the hardest to get, only for artists or scientists. They presented their projects and their successful careers to achieve such accomplishment. 

Even after three years living abroad, he works for the biggest Brazilian TV: Rede Globo. He graduated as Screenwriter and even won several awards for his creations. “Supermax” was writing, among others, for him.
