You can see why this painting would evoke these emotions because of all the symbolism used such as the fire in the painting represents destruction and the corpse in the middle of the paint represents death.

  • The title 'The Tower Of Sleep' is relatable to the artwork as Sleep can also mean Death. Something easily spotted would be the striking colours like the red, orange and yellow. I think the story behind this artwork would be the life after DEATH. The artwork makes me feel scared.
