They guide teachers about how to go with teaching methodologies. Their application is completely need and situation based with no theory perfect in all the situations. At the same time effectiveness of no theory can be ruled out completely. Behavioural being teacher-centric approach has rightly pointed importance of conditioning and use of positive and negative reinforcement to ensure learning. Cognitive and constructive are more learner- centric and very effective in teaching analytical, creative and application skills. Connectivism helps in collaborative learning, and incorporating technology. Humanism theory is essential for learning to happen but feel its scope gets limited in a fixed subject choices and assessment based curriculum. https://padlet.com/sirishakonduri/qtpk2y0qmcarw661/wish/661788551 I am more associated with cognitive as it provides scope for integration of learner prior knowledge  with the topic going on in the class. It develops peer learning, thus learning is not completely dependent on the teacher. It equally enhances scope of learning for the teacher through variety of perspectives contributed by the students.
