    RAM
    If your device has a small amount of RAM then it will take a while for your computer to make cache space (temp memory) for the website, therefore making it slower to upload the website. If your computer has a large amount of RAM then it takes less time to upload the website as there is already cache space for the web files improving the speed / performance.

    Bandwidth is the amount of data traffic that can be downloaded from a website per second. This data traffic works the same in that if they are lots of people downloading from a website at once the download speed will be slower because each user will have a cap on the amount of data they can download at once.

    The processor will affect the performance as if your processor is slow then it will take longer for the computer to load and display the webpage, as the computer processor needs to process the data. Also if you are running more than one website at a time, for example a music website and a social networking site, then this is where a fast processor is necessary to handle both tasks, keeping performance levels high.

    • File Type can influence performance of the website because all types of files have to be formatted to the best format to ensure faster loading and displaying of the website to the users screen. The image file type can be bitmap, vector, jpg and gif, but the best for the website will be the gif type because it ensures a smaller size of images and fast loading.
