Use a sensor to act as a tripwire and active an alarm and if possible, alert you when someone trips it.

A door alarm for my house. When someone walks into the house and the Bluetooth connector does not recognize the iPhone it will automatically start beeping a very loud tune. The micro bit has to have the alarm set on though to start beeping. It is light and hard to see because it is so small.
