Adjust your membership to the NEW conference dates (3/4 month adjustment to your membership start date).  I know this will be a nightmare to make happen and will probably have to be hand entered, but there are many issues with the change of conference dates for those whose districts pay for them to attend.  

This would be a ONE TIME ONLY adjustment and offer.  My suggestion would be to have it available to those members with a START DATE of Sept. +4 or Oct. +3 ONLY.  Run it until conference this coming year.  I would make this almost a give away - EITHER grandfather everyone OR charge 5-10$ for the extra months.  We could use a code for this in NEON.

NEW TO THE PROFESSION:

1st year Teacher Librarians or Paraprofessionals get 6 month free membership. At the 6 month mark they can continue for an additional 6 months for a discounted  membership fee of $50.00 / $25.00.  Regular membership fees apply at the 2nd year. This membership would include membership prices at conference during the 1st year.

If we get them hooked and to our conference we will have them for future years.  If they never join or come to the conference because of price we will never have them, even for a year.
