         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Great Wall of China is 2,241 years old. Parts of it are collapsing because people are making tunnels under and around the wall which is making the ground unstable. If the mining keeps going unchecked, this masterpiece could topple over.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Gobi Desert is cold and is located on a high plateau. The elevation is over 3,000 feet above sea level. It's known in history as part of the great Mongol Empire. This is also where they first discovered that Dinosaurs laid eggs.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Yellow River is the second longest river in China and the fifth longest in the world. It is known as the "mother river of China" and the "world's muddiest river". It is 3,398 miles long and it is yellow because the water carries silt. This river gave people water to bathe in and to drink (water with silt in it is harmless if drank). </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Sui built the Zhaozhou Bridge across the Jiao River. It's known as the oldest surviving stone arched bridge in the world. The bridge also let people trade across the river and easier transportation.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge is 4,589 meters long. The bridge is a four-way highway and has two trains going across in opposite directions. Around 80,000 cars and 200 trains go across it every day. The Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge started construction in 1960 and finished eight years later. The impact it has is helping with transportation of people and goods.</div>]]></description>
