I was surprised that Kamishibai has some common points with films. For example, Yumi said that you can make movements by moving cards, and it is like a camerawork of films. She also mentioned that both Kamishibai and films are the group experience. I think Kamishibai will continue in Japan, especially in kindergarten, because feeling some emotions with others is one of the important elements of communication.

I learn kamishibai and picture books are so different within the lecture. Kamishibai is like a bridge to books and effective for children to experience common feelings in a group. Also, it helps them to concentrate on pictures and talking, using dynamic movements and abundant gestures. I think kamishibai will continue in Japan because it is a special activity for children. I remember that I really liked to listen to kamishibai. It is enjoyable for children to join a group and say what they think or come up with each other while listening. So, I believe that is why kamishibai is becoming more and more popular worldwide.

First of all, I was surprised that kamishibai had penetrated this far. Until I learned kamishibai workshop, I thought that kamishibai was only available in Japan, but only in Japan. Also, I learned that kamishibai can develop children’s listening ability because it is not written and that many children can see it at once because of its large drawing. I think kamishibai will continue in Japan because it is fun for children to watch. At the same time, it creates a sense of unity between the reader and the listener, creating an excellent atmosphere. I think we should have this kind of art form now that the number of electronic devices increases.

I learned about different between Kamishibai and picture books. Kamishibai is read aloud with pictures for each situation against a large number of people, and children's creativity can be utilized. There is also a sense of realism, and the presence pf the acting hand is strong. Picture books are easy to read by anyone. The world of works Individual sensibilities are nurtured by making it their own. I think Kamishibai will continue in Japan. Kamishibai fosters a sense of empathy, so I think it can be adopted especially in kindergartens. In addition, I want the culture of Kamishibai to spread to the world.

The first thing I learned is that kamishibai shows are not only a Japanese method. I had thought that kamishibai shows were a method of reading to children only in Japan and were not used overseas. However, in this class, I learned that it is also used as a method of reading to children overseas. The second thing I learned is that it helps improve my listening skills. Unlike picture books, kamishibai shows do not have words written on them, and since they are listened to by ear, they help improve listening skills. In this way, it has good points that are not found in regular picture book reading. So, I think this art form will continue in Japan.

I learned that Kamishibai can have a more positive impact on children. Kamishibai is very simple and the pictures are large. So, even small children can enjoy it. In addition, since there are no words written, the readers can freely create a story. Because they can ask children questions about the story, the children can learn new things and develop their imagination. Also, children can listen to the valuable knowledge and experience of the reader, so I think Kamishibai has become one of the most important educational tools. In addition, since Kamishibai is read in a group, children can learn the importance of cooperation and listen to each other's opinions. Therefore, I think Kamishibai will continue in Japan.

I think kamishibai is one of Japanese traditional cultures. When I was in a kindergarten, the teacher read to me and when I was in junior school student, I made original kamishibai in lesson at school. I learned that why kamishibai is used as education. I learned that there is STEAM and that meaning. Kamishibai is literature but STEAM includes science and technology so I was surprised. A reader can express the story with using kamishibai dynamically. So, children can have an interest more than picture books. I think kamishibai art form will continue in Japan. It is because kamishibai is not only reading, but also children can participate.

It is interesting because there are some differences between picture books and Kamishibai. When I was a child, I used to have picture books, and Kamishibai read. However, I could understand that the children can only see the pictures, so I think the speaker could fully express themself in Kamishibai. You can add movement as you slide the paper, show a picture of a full sheet of paper, ask questions, and let the children discover it. I think this art will continue in Japan because it's very memorable. In my experience, it's very visually appealing and can be enjoyed with many children.

It was new to me that Kamishibai were started by men on the street. I think this art form will continue in Japan. This is because kamishibai are a traditional Japanese entertainment and are perfect for children to enjoy. Picture books are relatively small, so they are easy to read for one child, but not for large groups. Kamishibai are suitable for entertainment for many children due to the large size of the pictures. Also, picture books are read as if they were talking, so reading them before going to bed tends to calm the children. On the other hand, kamishibai are enjoyed by children because the readers act and read them happily. As you can see, both have good points, so I think Japan will continue to read kamishibai.

I thought that kamishibai was just different in shape from picture books. However, when I heard Ms. Izuyama's story this time, I found that it was very attractive. Especially, it will be very interesting for children to move the picture according to the story. Kamishibai has the larger picture than the picture book, so children can concentrate the story more, so Kamishibai is good for children who are 0 to 3 years. After seeing the kamishibai show in this class in a long time, I remembered the excitement I felt when I was little. I want to read kamishibai for my children in the future.

I learned some differences between kamishibai and picture books. Kamishibai have various effects on children. First, kamishibai don’t have any sentences, so children feel like watching a play. Also, listening skills will be cultivated. Second, imagination is cultivated. Because children can imagine the invisible part of the kamishibai. Finally, Empathy is nurtured. In kamishibai, speakers and listeners face each other and share a story. I think kamishibai will definitely continue in Japan because even children who are not interested in books can enjoy kamishibai, and it is fun to read one story together. Kamishibai are one of the special art forms for children.

Through this workshop, I learned that picture story shows have a different appeal and effect from picture books. Since there are no words in a picture story show, it depends on the reader's way of expression. Because of this, it is possible to entertain children in various ways. Also, since there are no words in the storyboard, it develops children's listening skills and imagination. What surprised me the most was that Kamishibai, which I had thought was a Japanese tradition, was also enjoyed overseas. For these reasons, I believe that the Kamishibai format will continue in Japan in the future.
