When analyzing both the graphic novel and the original text I've concluded that the graphic novel brushes over that he is dead while the original text makes sure you know.

Importance of the motif

The motif I had was the most important one by far. The reason that Loyalty was the most important one is that it ended up with both people dead in the end. Frankenstein had ran to the end of the world to get away from the thing he created. Meanwhile, the monster who was created by Frankenstein just kept following him eventually led to killing himself.

By having Frankenstein have no loyalty at all to the monster that he created it made the plot way different than if he cherished that monster.

I've concluded that the graphic novel is way better than the original text because it shows the emotion you cannot write out.

The original text is better than the graphic novel because it makes sure you know that the monster is and wants to be dead. He also feels remorse that can't be shown in the graphic novel.

Some strengths of the original text include that it gets very descriptive and leaves a lot of extra details that you don't get from the graphic novel. "Great God! what a scene has just taken place! I am yet dizzy with the remembrance of it. I hardly know whether I shall have the power to detail it; yet the tale which I have recorded would be incomplete without this final and wonderful catastrophe." Some weaknesses include that it cannot show emotion or whats happening very well in the story. "It is past; I am returning to England. I have lost my hopes of utility and glory; I have lost my friend. But I will endeavor to detail these bitter circumstances to you, my dear sister; and while I am wafted towards England and towards you, I will not despond."

Some strengths from the graphic novel include how in detail and how expression changes the novel (Page 45). Some weaknesses include that sometimes without the right amount of words you have no idea whats going on (Page 128).

The theme of Frankenstein is creation. The reason that the theme is creation is that you have to be proud of what you make. In the end it is what you thought of and did.

This theme is not very valued in the world today because people discard things they work very hard on. People should be proud of what they make and how hard they worked on it. People should be influenced by this because it is important to love what you do.
