Worms are malware that can spread it self with networks making it dangerous. The effect of the malware is that it will make the computer slow, constant programs opening and closing, missing/modified files, unusual behaviours, Etc. Spyware is also quiet dangerous since it can gather information about everything in the computer and send it to the user of this malware. Adware doesn't really harm the computer instead it will pop up an add in the computer constantly. Scareware are type of malware that threaten you to buy their unneeded and not working files and they wont leave you till you buy their stuff. Rootkits are malware that let people to enable access to the computer and the software.
