Whom are the sources of wisdom in your life?

When it comes to sources of wisdom in my life, I’d say it’s a mix of people. My parents especially because they gave me the autonomy to make my own mistakes and find my own solutions. Much like Will Weaver when he talks about his father giving him the tools to succeed and then how he was proud of himself after (p. 240-241).

Who would YOU invite to sit at your table and speak into your life?

It would be filled with people who have experience in Sports, but also people who have purpose and passion. I’d want people who are authentic, who don’t just tell me what I want to hear, but challenge me to grow. "Only ask you be your best. For you sake. You think I want you be genius? (Tan p. 246)” This quote, relates to me because I want to be pushed so that I give my best. I find it easy to coast sometimes and I would rather have people push me.

What desires do you have that might guide, or that you might fulfill, through your career or vocational choices?

I really want to do something that feels meaningful. Money matters, of course, but at the end of the day, I want to look back and feel like I made an impact, even if it’s in small ways.

I’m a strong communicator, and I enjoy analyzing problems and finding solutions.

I think the internet has had a huge impact on how I view career paths. There are so many unconventional ways to be successful now, and I don’t feel as confined to a traditional 9-to-5.
