• How will you continue to research the topics raised in the platform topics?
I will study and investigate the environment related to this topic according to my interests and research needs, including historical context, contemporary context, and theoretical context. During the study, I will gradually narrow the scope of research, find deeper connections between things, and let my goal be clearer and more accurate.

• How will you choose the topic you want to pursue and what to read/watch next?
Contacting my experience, interests and the challenges I want to set for myself, at present, I have narrowed the scope of research to "Habitation of Landscape: ecological voids and electronic wilderness". Next, I need to accurately understand these words one by one and find the reasons for this phenomenon and find more examples, not only limited to the field of art and design, but also include movies, articles, etc.

 

I did know that my interests are in the society. And I would like to proceed with something practical. So I chose this theme. I would like to work with other experts in other disciplines as well. After I go into this theme, I reckon that I need more grounded thinking to narrow down my thoughts. Furthermore I feel I should try out more experimental ways of visualisation.

I will read and study more literature that includes the emotions of Koreans. And I would like to interview the people.

By visiting more historical sites in Seoul and by visualising the relationship between the concepts, I can narrow down the information that I will use.

I am going to link the spatial-temporal concept with the concept of emotions by uncovering the relationships. 

And I will make some question lists to clarify my subject.

• How will you choose what threads to pursue and what will you read / look at next
3. By comparing the current research direction, I will choose the part I am most interested in, research more artists' works and read some keywords related to literature to find a more specific development direction.

I will do some experiments about it (collage, photos), and look at some literature review to pay attention to them, such as the sociology of the phenomenon of demolition and protection of rights.

I looked closely at the case study in the platform theme package before choosing it, and I found that the human and tool relationship of Proximities and Encounter was my point of interest. Because I'm quite interested in technophobia, that technology changed the way we communicate. The Internet has changed our social language, and language symbols and emojis are gradually replacing our common language. Last week, I make a comparison between two study cases, it's clear that communication barrier is real exist.

-How will you continue to research the subjects raised in the platform theme?

I started researching emoji, which I created as a glossary that represents the password of a group through which we can analyze their preferences, social environment and personality. Just as barcodes have created virtual commodity worlds, emo-codes may be another language of human communication in the future. It is understood that the language system established for emo-code is a world of utopia. We will lose the text, over-consumption of online expressions to make people believe that people's sense of distance can be determined by emoji. I also found, Communication accommodation theorist’s 
beliefs that people in most cases would change their communication style during the conversation. So I want to create an anti-Utopian world, emo-code build fake communication and human emotion gradually become pronoun of falsity. 

-How will you choose what threads to pursue and what will you read/ look at next?

Just as the use of health code not only allows the outbreak to be effectively controlled in China, but also prevents some groups from walking out (the elderly with technophobia). emo-code is the communication barrier, and the study found that emoji is used differently at different ages. Next, I'll pay more attention to the social distance generated by emoji in different regions.
