He sees himself as different and is unable to process the emotions that come along with that. This is significant because the reader may feel conflicted as to what attitude to have towards the monster. </div>]]></description>

He cannot let the emotions overtake him but throughout the stroy he plays a pivotal role as he teaches his successor how to handle these. Gatekeeping all of these memories could be seen as a bad action yet it is offset by his support of the main characters revolt against the society in which they live</div>]]></description>

Thus, he makes rash decisions at the expense of other, not understanding the consequences of his actions. He learns over time that his actions and very existence are wrong, and that he will never fit into normal society. He was unfairly brought into a world that he had no understanding of, and destined for a lonely existence.</div>]]></description>
