         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Manifest Functions </strong><br>Socialization ex: Children practice societal rules so for instance they respect the teachers because they have authority over them <br>Transmission of culture ex: In this society women and men are separated in school and women have to wear the hijab if they are going out of campus <br>Social control: Disapproval of girls being able to do well in sports and school tournaments. Boys being judged as naughty even when doing nothing of that sort (ex being accused of smoking, vaping and etc)<br>Social placement: No matter how hard you try the people with higher classes and better networking will always be more successful <br>Cultural Innovation:&nbsp; <br><strong><br>Latent Functions </strong><br>Courtship: Being shammed for being attracted to the opposite gender thus leading to lack of social intelligence when coming to communicating with them.<br>Social Networks: People have to work extra hard if they have no social networks to support them<br>Group work: Because of not being exposed to the opposite gender girls struggle in college to interact with them in group works&nbsp;<br>Creation of generation gap: With globalization and social media many of the close minded ideologies are not supported anymore.<br>Political and social integration:&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
