I want to flip my classroom, because I want students to be able to understand how to do math problems and be able to learn them on their own time and constantly have access to the instructional videos.

How?

I need to use Screen-Cast-O-Matic or my webcam to record notes/lecture material. Then I need to post the videos to a reliable space for my students - YouTube, a class website, etc. I need to have an accountability system set up for the students to demonstrate that they've watched the videos before class. I need to have a warm up at the beginning of class that requires the students to reflect on the video - demonstrate their understandings/questions.

Accountability - I'm going to have the students take notes on the video. The next day, the students will swap notes with their partner and their partner will have to use their notes to complete class problems. The student is responsible for answering any questions their partner may have.

Decide which content would be best explained through video. Decide how to switch up the flipped classroom so it's not the same thing every day. Re-format Curriculum Map/Syllabus to align with flipped classroom activities.

Flip a classroom and analyze how it improved/changed classroom learning. Identify problems and create solutions. Ask for student and colleague feedback. Refine flipped classroom practices and make them a consistent classroom activity.
