1.Main topic:

As for the main idea of this lecture, we four all agreed that it mainly talked about feedback, including teaching audience how to use feedback efficiently and demonstrating feedbacks as well as opinions received from course directors which can help Students to "survive" .

2.Interesting parts:

Chloe was surprised by the meaning of successful students which originally means students performing well, but in this lecture is interpreted as those who just pass the modules.

Guangtian Zhu did not realize the importance of language community until he watched the video, which means if someone is always talking in his or her native language, it may hard to improve English. Only practice makes perfect.

Shiqi Zhang thought the most interesting thing in this lecture was that  successful and at risk students had similarities, like time management as numerous assignments, etc.

Yuqing Li’s personal interest was that annotation was only a part of feedback which contains written and oral comments from tutors and peers, and successful students focus on both feedback and criteria.

3.Contents difficult to understand :

Chloe felt it hard to understand "reliance on one source" which was explained by other peers later and means the importance of seeking for help from different ways.

Yuqing Li said she was struggled with how to use feedback efficiently. And after discussion, she knew that there were ways, like evaluating learning process and reporting back.

4.Overall experience：

All of us thought the slides in the guest lecture are concise and informative. And we've learned a lot from it, containing what kind of feedback we can use and how to use it efficiently with the opinions from course directors.

Guangtian Zhu said the delivery was elaborate. Even though some expressions were unfamiliar and unknown, he can still comprehend it after the speaker's explanation.

Shiqi Zhang thought this thought-provoking speech reminded her the feedbacks that she could not analyze sufficiently in the past and helped her figure out problems she is facing with.
