After the video is played the second time, students would be given a list of questions to answer in their Science copybooks based on the video.

3. What is one way pollution occurs?
4. How can pollution affect you?
5. How can you help prevent pollution?
-This activity was used to give students an understanding of one of the major problems the environment faces, that being pollution, and it is an issue because polluting the schoolyard, and classroom can affect learning because it will have the learning environment unclean, and unsanitary which can cause illnesses. The use of Direct Instruction and Brainstorming would be utilized. -The class of 12 students would be split into 3 groups, each group would have their own color to represent their group. Each group would then be given 3 small baskets, one titled Reduce, the other titled Reuse, and the third titled Recycle. They would then go around the classroom on a hunt to find hidden picture cards with items that are to be reduced, reused and recycled, that were hidden by the teacher and place them in the appropriate baskets. The group with 3 picture cards in each basket first wins! The winning group gets their color flag stuck on the wall for the school day.
To reinforce what the students learned about Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, a worksheet would be given to students. Cooperative Learning would be most present in this lesson!
