It encouraged students from my Research Seedbeed (Semillero) to speak up their voices on peace-building practices and their own research experience. Next day, we were invited to speak about the conference in a radio station.</p><p><br></p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>We analyzed a case of cyberbullying as an opportunity to conduct research on the emotional and social impact of such situations within the school community. Through dialogue and collaborative inquiry, we explored ways to understand, prevent, and repair the harm caused to victims, fostering empathy and collective responsibility among participants. After that, I encouraged my students to present their findings during a symposium at the Santo Tomas University.</p>]]></description>

These experiences allowed me to share pedagogical reflections and methodological strategies to support English learning processes. Through dialogue with teachers and students, I deepened my understanding of the challenges and opportunities in rural education contexts.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>I wanted to use a comparative approach to encourage my students to value local diversity, recognize the historical struggles of our own communities, and understand the importance of decolonial perspectives in education. So I invited my students to critically examine colonial processes not only in North America but also within our own national history. We did this by visiting El Museo del Oro exhibitions and then having a conversation in class. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>During one of my teaching experiences, we created an adventure book that students developed over two months. Each week, they added pictures and short stories about things they considered important to share. Through their pages, I could see who they were, their context, interests, and what truly mattered to them. It was a creative and meaningful way to connect with their personal worlds while improving their English skills.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>My students and I took part in the “Día del Idioma” celebration at UPTC by organizing a Creative Writing Workshop. We designed activities focused on written expression, including poetry, comics, letters, and reading comprehension tasks based on tales they had created themselves. The event attracted many participants, and it was rewarding to see my students confidently share their work and interact with others through creativity and language.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>In 2021 and 2022, I had the opportunity to take part in a Summer Camp where I worked at a Special Needs program. During this experience, I supported both children and adults with autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, and other conditions. It was a deeply meaningful time that helped me grow personally and professionally, teaching me patience, empathy, and the importance of inclusive education. Working with such wonderful individuals truly broadened my perspective on diversity and human connection.</p>]]></description>
