         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>e.g. when and where the religion began, how it began, major founder(s), etc.$<br><br></strong>founded in<strong> 563 bc</strong><br><strong>prince siddhartha gautama</strong> founded it-known as <strong>buddah</strong><br>Prince who<strong> lived in India</strong><br>lived in palace - was not allowed out- never saw anyone outside- <strong>decided to leave palace for the first time </strong>- <strong>saw old man</strong>- <strong>sick</strong> - <strong>dead man</strong>- <strong>a monk</strong>- this opened his eyes to see those who where not as fortunate- big change - wanted to be a monk- left family -<strong> lived as homeless man</strong>- wanted to find a solution to the suffering- carried out his investigation for <strong>6 years</strong>-<strong> but found nothing-one day he sat under the tree and decided he would not leave until he understood how to stop suffering</strong>- the tree in which he sat under was called <strong>bodhi tree</strong>-<br><br></div>]]></description>
