I already knew cyberbullying was a type of harassment done online and that goverment in other countries (not mine) are doing quite a lot to prevent it and punish bullies. Also, I knew social media has been promoting a lot of stereotypes of 'perfection' which had led to more cyberbulllying and bodyshaming. Even classism and racism. In my own research, I've watched videos of native speakers bullying non-natives because of their accents and I've had to work on that with my students, because they have seen those videos on TikTok, so they are even more afraid to speak English. I do research and try to find nice examples of people speaking different languages to show my students that everything is possible :)

I'd like to know how to differenciate between cyberbullying and just an uncomfortable situation like the one in the video we watched where the kid posted an ugly photo of his friend and then deleted it. I also have seen that the community have responsibilities to prevent it by creating awareness, helping our teens to know how to use the internet for good puroses.
