confused as to why he is acting differently and refuses to eat

encourage them to talk it and vent their feelings. if him/her doesn't want to talk, then can just hang out with them so that he/she won't feel lonely.

make sure dont force them to talk about the situation if they dont feel comfortable.

jay isolated himself in his room for awhile to cope with the breakup. it was unhealthy. jay could open up and try to talk to someone about it.

Jolin could have explained why is she breaking up with him and maybe if she had explained, they could have fix it. A person should explained and communicate with their partner together before coming out with the decision of breaking up.

Jolin could have stated her reasons about breaking up instead of ending the relationship so abruptly and instead of breaking up over text , they should meet up and have a proper closure.
