Dependent clause: a group of word that do not make sense alone.

When/ Although / Since/ after/ before

To create a complex sentence using the words above you have two options:
1. Start with the subordinate word ( use a comma after the clause):
When I reach home, I will sleep.
When I reach home ( dependent clause)
I will sleep ( Independent clause)

2. use it in the middle ( start with the other independent clause. ( no comma is needed here)
