I would walk into Baby ballet every Saturday with my little tutu on and a cute little pink leotard. I have been dancing ever since. Every year i learn more and more from my teachers at Lets Dance Studios. My teacher sand i have grown a very strong relationship and we have mad a lot of memories. One thing that I remember vividly from dancing very young is my first dance recital. I remember being in our dressing rooms. All the kids were drawing and we were watching a movie on this little laptop someone brought in for us. The whole room smelt of hairspray. I remember putting my little red costume with a huge red tutu, and my tiny black tap shoes. I remember the lights hit my face as i walked out on stage. Everyone in the audience let out a big 
" aaaawwwww". I looked over to my dance teacher and she had a huge smile on her face. The music started and i just did it. Our song Little Tap Shoes filled the room as we tapped away. I remember seeing my family in the audience and waving to them in the middle of the dance. But more and more of my friends said they were going to join color guard and they should try it with them. I just decided to try and see what happens. It wasn't until auditions came when I started to fell extremely nervous. When i showed up to auditions it was nice to see a lot of my friends to calm me down. We learned the routine the moment finally came. It was time to do the routine in front of our judges. Everyone went outside in the hallway and it became real.  It felt like there was a huge pit in my stomach. I was so nervous. We all practiced quietly in the hallway while we waited. Then my name was called in a group. I walked in and everyone was telling us good luck. I walked in and my face was beat red. I just tried to keep a smile on my face to hide the fear in my eyes. When the music stared I took a deep breath and did the routine. After everyone had been called in we had wait for them to decide who was going to be on the team. Three people where called in. I didn't know if it was a good thing or a bad thing. But as it turns out those three people got cut. Later the called everyone else in. I will never forget the feeling of being told i made it. my face lit up. We met through dance in 2008. And we have been best friends ever since. We do pretty much everything together. She is like a sister to me. I don't know what i would do without her. We had all the same dance classes for a very long time so we just fooled around the whole time.
