China's foreign trade

High tech industry
According to the statistical catalogue of China's high-tech products determined by the Ministry of science and technology and the Ministry of Commerce (the former Ministry of foreign trade and economic cooperation), high-tech products include advanced technology products in 9 fields, including computer and communication technology, life science technology, electronic technology, computer integrated manufacturing technology, aerospace technology, photoelectric technology, biotechnology, material technology and others. In the context of economic globalization, high-tech industry has become a strategic new industry for economic development. High tech products have high scientific and technological content and little environmental pollution. They have become the most competitive export products in China's foreign trade export products, and they are also an important carrier to realize the transformation of foreign trade growth mode. Promoting the development of high-tech industry can expand the export scale of high-tech products, and increasing the export of high-tech products can improve the structure of China's export commodities and improve China's position in the world market. In recent years, China has issued a number of policies to promote the import and export of high-tech products.

Electromechanical industry
Mechanical and electrical products refer to mechanical equipment, electrical equipment, means of transportation, electronic products, electrical products, instruments and meters, metal products and their parts and components. Combined with the development situation of China's mechanical and electrical products in recent years, China's foreign trade of mechanical and electrical products is severe. Novel coronavirus pneumonia and import / export of China's mechanical and electrical products will still be under pressure of growth in 2020. Novel coronavirus pneumonia will soon have a significant impact on foreign trade as soon as possible, but the internal factors of China's electromechanical products import and export sustainable and healthy development have not changed. The positioning of electromechanical foreign trade in the comprehensive quality upgrading and efficiency enhancement stage of technology, quality, brand and service has not changed. Considering the unexpected epidemic situation, Sino US trade friction, national / regional policies and other uncertain factors and the potential decline risk of global economic growth, improving quality and efficiency remains the core focus of electromechanical foreign trade in 2020.
