1. The possible forms includes : Verb (Ex: Live with) - Noun object (Ex :I Live with James)- Pronoun object ( Ex : I live with him)
2.With phrasal verbs the object can come before or after the particle if the object is not a pronoun. With prepositional verbs, the object is always immediately after the preposition. So in conclusion, it is not possible for prepositional verbs to change unlike phrasal verbs which puts the adverb to come before the object.
Ex : Took over my Job (Grammatically Correct) but Took my job over ( Grammatically Incorrect)
In some cases Ex : I make up my face or I make my face up ( Both grammatically incorrect)
3. In the phrasal verbs, the preposition like it ,him, her ,... can come after the noun object but no before it.
Ex: I turn up it ( Grammatically incorrect)
I turn it up ( Grammatically correct)
