         <description><![CDATA[<div>Introduction:&nbsp; | Managing myself. This key skill helps learners to understand themselves both as individuals and as learners so that they can develop personal goals and plans. It also helps them develop strategies to make considered decisions, to take action and to reflect on their progress.&nbsp;<br><br>Whole-School Initiatives Study skills day for exam classes to encourage them to focus on their goals and to reflect on their progress via ongoing study plans. Parents were linked into study skills online with a follow on information session to help support their children in managing themselves (e.g. reducing distractions etc.) Encourage the use of ICT systems through the use of Microsoft Teams and Outlook. &nbsp;<br><br>&nbsp;Relevance for Business Studies Study skills allows them to set goals in relation to homework, studying, managing time away from school for extra curricular activites. ICT helps with CBAs – research, presentation etc. &nbsp;</div>]]></description>
