Students need to feel safe in order to learn and they need to feel secure in order for them to participate. And this is one of the most important things of teachers can do to promote positive learning environment, students may feel in asking questions and contributing to class discussions so that they will learn. Let us make it safe for our pupils/students to participate and ask questions, no matter what a student says, we will make it a habit to respond with respect. Thus, as a teacher, we must provide safe,  challenging and harmonious atmosphere inside the classroom. First, we must build rapport relationship with the learners through greetings, interacting with them individually, listening attentively to their inquiries, problems, comments, and suggestions, and empathizing their meaningful life stories and experiences. Then, we must provide them with a conducive environment which is well-ventilated, spacious and better lightings to help them comfortable and convenient in the learning process. More importantly, we must give them feedback and reinforcement by recognizing and praising their performance wholeheartedly as well as provide them feedback on their performance if there is a room for improvement to foster their skills. Hence, all of these are vital to ensure the safe and win-win atmosphere in the classroom setting.
