(</em><strong><em>as or has?)</em></strong><em><br>And, despite the cold,<br></em><strong><em>doesn't moan or whine</em></strong><em><br>as it holds on in the icy swirl of a windy world<br>to drifting flakes<br>(the snow and me),<br>part moisture and part mystery. <br></em><strong><em>Excellent example of personification, Tony! Why did the poet do it, do you think?<br><br></em></strong><em>In this stanza, it says&nbsp; "The Pine trees </em><strong>catches </strong><em>occasional flurries in spiky mitts... Pine trees aren't human, but "catch", "moan" and "whine" are all human actions. Also, trees don't have sagging arms, they do not have spine. They are all human's. <br><br>Metaphor: Life is a game. </em><br><br></div>]]></description>
