I just transferred from Southwest and although it wasn't a drastic change there is some pretty big differences in navigating my courses and I had to actively learn how to navigate and adjust on my own. It was a hybrid course and so we didn't have much time in class to learn the material. It was easy to just find out the calculator functions but I wanted to actually reflect on what I've learned so I could apply it to future needs and it has proven to be beneficial. Another constructive learning experience for me was actually learning to drive. Instead of just learning the mechanics of it on paper, it's been much easier to learn by doing. Another authentic learning experience has been learning to play softball.
