One way that I have meaningfully learned actively lately is actually figuring out how to work ecourseware and navigating through my classes. I just transferred from Southwest and although it wasn't a drastic change there is some pretty big differences in navigating my courses and I had to actively learn how to navigate and adjust on my own. Another way is my husband has been teaching me how to use power tools and a sander because I've been doing a lot of DIY projects at home and I've had to actively observe and then learn the right way to do this on my own safely.

Constructive (Articulative/Reflective)

One way for constructive learning I've experienced is from my statistics class at Southwest. It was a hybrid course and so we didn't have much time in class to learn the material. It was easy to just find out the calculator functions but I wanted to actually reflect on what I've learned so I could apply it to future needs and it has proven to be beneficial. Another constructive learning experience for me was actually learning to drive. I wasn't the best at it so I had to reflect on what could've happened and learn from my mistakes.

A goal-directed meaningful learning experience as of lately has been studying for my praxis-core test! I have been putting in the work to succeed to be able to get my bachelors degree along with becoming an elementary education teacher! Another goal-directed learning experience lately has been learning to be more handy around the house, buying a home was expensive and I love doing diy projects. So basically working hard to save money.

An authentic learning experience for me lately has been learning to play keyboard. Instead of just learning the mechanics of it on paper, it's been much easier to learn by doing. Another authentic learning experience has been learning to play softball. I've been helping my niece but also having to learn it myself, so it's been a task to actually practice and learn it outside of us just watching videos on it.

A cooperative/collaborative example in my life has actually been learning a new game with my husband and two mutual friends. We have worked together to learn how to play the game, as well as working together in the game. Another collaborative setting in my life lately has been working with my family to help my twin autistic nephews. It has been a lot of working together to make sure they are getting all the care that they need.
