Know: When planning all my photo shoots and my presentation which is for my final Elements Tasks, I referenced back the template and my previous Padlets which gave me ideas on what sort of photographs I could produce in each of the Elements.

Do: The new skills that I applied when completing tasks would be writing out my work in a lay out where it is going to get shown to the class in the form of a presentation. When editing my final photographs just to get them to look more eye catching, I learned lots of different ways that you can change a a photograph to the point where photograph looks completely different to how it did in the first place.
(Screen shots of my final photographs will be provided below).

Show: I presented my Contact sheets and my final Formal Elements photographs on Microsoft Power point, I also posted all of my contact sheets and final photographs on Showbie(Screenshots will be provided below).
Improve: When improving my work the only thing that I need to work on would be double checking that all of my work that I am going to present will have no mistakes or errors, I will also begin to make sure that all of my work has been posted on Showbie and works without any complications.

Know: The thing that has helped me throughout my planning would be the guide lines, when writing I have noticed that I sometimes come off track of what I was meant to write in the first place so the guide line helps me focus on the objective. It has also helped me by making my work more much neater then it would've been in the first place.
Do: The skills that I have applied this week would be planning, such as the multiple mind maps I have created in order to help me and give me ideas on what my Formal Element pictures could be based on.
I managed to complete the tasks by putting my head down and getting on with the work. The barriers that I faced was staying focused but I did manage to be able to get the work done and posted.
Show: I presented my work by posting it on the new Padlet that I have made (screen shots will be provided below).

Improve: The thing that I need to work on would still keeping up with the work pace. I plan to solve this problem by coming in on a study day to do my work or perhaps staying a little later on some days.

Know: The thing that has helped me when developing my skills that I might've not known before would be learning how to use certain parts of a DSLR camera that I didn't know how to use before which was how to record videos which I found very easy to do once I knew what I was doing.
Do: The skills that I have learnt this week would be when using Photo Shop, I am very familiar with the basics on Photo Shop but not everything that Karl was teaching, which I found quite interesting to learn as it was something new to learn and to add on top of all of the other stuff I already know about Photo Shop which is going to help me when having to edit photographs in the future, using these skills that I am learning will leave me with the skills to be able to produce very impressive photographs which I am very proud of.
Show: I presented my work outcomes by creating a new public Padlet profile using the shelf layout, i then posted all my new work on that. I then later selected my Padlet link which was posted on my Showbie so when my work will be assessed it will be easy to access without any problems.(Screen shots will be provided below)
Improve: What I think I need to improve on would most probably be making sure that I am keeping up with the work pace to make sure that I don't end up falling behind which I have managed to avoid. What I also would like to work on would be Photo Shop. I am quite confident with Photo Shop i'd just like to brush up on it so I feel like I would be able to edit without having any trouble.

Wk.2 18.09.17 Task 2: Replicate Formal Elements (Unit 1: 1.1 and 1.2)

Know: My understanding on the formal elements is very strong, the different Formal elements are Line, texture, colour and shape. What I have understood about the Formal Elements is that when artists use/show them in many different, for example one artist might just use one Formal element but another artist will take a photograph using many Formal elements to the point where you might get confused about what the Formal Element the artist is actually basing their work on.
Do: When taking the photographs I needed when posting on my Adobe Spark, I used my phone camera without using the flash, the reason was because the photographs were already bright enough because of the natural lighting that was being projected. I also used a USB cable which I used to transfer my pictures that I took on my phone on to my PC. I used Adobe Photo Shop when transforming my photographs into acceptable pictures to use when showing that I have tried to mimic different artists work in different ways. When I was taking the photographs I was either in the car park near college as I needed to be high up for some of my photographs, or I just took my photographs at random places around the Harlow Town Centre.
Show: I presented my work on my Adobe Spark by presenting my chosen artists picture that I decided to base my photographs on, I then posted my own picture below which was then annotated after the last picture. I done this on all of my Formal Elements posts as I wanted to clearly show which photographs and annotation belong to what Formal element and artist.
Adobe Spark Presentation: https://spark.adobe.com/page/fYqCpvXseb4XF/
Improve: When I was looking through all of the photographs I have taken and edited to chose my favourite one to write an in depth analysis on I compared a lot of my finished mimics to the original photographs done by different artists, I chose the photograph that I thought suited one of the Formal elements the best. When writing the in depth analysis I used the template that helped me when writing about what I used to take the photographs, how I took them and why I decided to use the techniques that I used in my work. I am becoming more successful when writing analysis's, using the templates help me for when writing analysis for other things, instead of writing about lots of stuff that will be important for the work, I started to get a little carried away but using a template has helped me to keep to the point when writing, I want to carry on using them so I can end up writing analysis's without needing to rely on templates. Here's an example of the template that I used below:

Know: The thing that has helped me when writing all of my work is when I was writing about an artist, referencing really helped me when it came to backtracking if I was to forget to write some details about something.
Do: The skills that I have learnt this week is how to be able to use Padlet without any trouble so I can produce my work without any complications. I completed the task by making sure that once I had written about something/ someone that I add a research source and by adding some visual evidence of what I have been researching. The barriers that I met throughout this week was just when I was getting used to posting work where my teachers can see it, another thing I have also had to get used to was the pace of the work which I'm not finding difficult anymore as I've started to teach myself how to get used to the quick work pace. The thing that I am proud of is learning how to produce and post my work without any trouble.
Show: I presented my work outcomes by posting them on my Padlet wall which was then sent to my teacher so he knows where i'm at in my work process. (Screenshot is provided below)
Improve: To improve I think that I can still improve on not getting distracted which is easy to avoid as I just put my headphones in so I can't hear anyone and it makes it much easier to concentrate as well as not getting distracted. The skills that I have learnt would be learning how to use Padlet and lots of other different apps and websites I have been using with my class mates, I hope to learn how to use all of those without any troubles what's so ever.
