The year is 2150. I am Deniz. When I woke up in the morning, my lungs were burning because I was breathing “Artificial Air-3000”, not real air. The plastic trees outside my window sucked carbon dioxide from the dirty sky, but they could never remind me of a real forest. The blue skies and birdsong my grandmother told me about were now just a fairy tale. Even the sun barely peeked through the toxic clouds.

On the way to school, I checked my “Life Points” in my pocket. To buy a glass of clean water, I would have to spend the points I had earned last night fixing robots. Collecting rainwater was forbidden! If you do that, the “Water Kings” will catch you immediately.

Everything is very expensive on the street. Even an apple seed is worth a month's work. A secret group called the Earth Guardians has been saving old seeds. But no one can say it out loud. In the zoos, there are extinct animals that are only refrigerated. Just seeing them makes my heart ache.

I went to the seaside... Yes, my name is Deniz (Sea), but there is no sea! I remember the last time there was a ceremony to commemorate a fish that died in 2098. Now the seas are full of plastic.

An artificial intelligence called BioPolis is watching my every step. Every moment I breathe, I have to obey the rules of the Water Kings. But I haven't lost hope! Every seed I find can change the future.

One night, in the secret cave of the Earthkeepers, I found an old piece of paper: “Seeds for Traveling to the Past”. I put my seeds in a special machine and pressed the button. My room filled with purple light...

When I opened my eyes, it was September 15, 2025! My feet were in the mud. There were people running around me with plastic bottles. I immediately planted the wheat seeds in my pocket in the ground. BioPolice didn't exist yet. I could save the future!

For the first time in my life I felt my lungs filling with fresh air. It felt free to breathe without following the rules of the water kings. The swinging branches of the trees, the chirping of the birds, even the tail movement of the lizard I came across on the ground, which I had never seen in my normal life except in the freezer, gave me goosebumps. With the energy that the fresh air gave me, I started planning what to do first. I had to prevent the artificial air 3000 and water kings. I had to create a community with volunteers whose hearts beat with nature and protect the world from the reality I live in. I am Deniz, I am ready for a sustainable nature.

The soil was still wet. I carefully planted all the seeds in my pocket, knowing that each grain was a piece of hope for the future. Just then, I heard a sound from behind me. I turned quickly and locked eyes with a young woman emerging from the trees. She was dressed in simple but natural clothes, her eyes reassuring.

“Hello,” she said in a soft voice. “My name is Doğa (Nature). I have been watching you for a while. I noticed your determination when you planted the seeds.”

For some reason I immediately felt open to her. I told her briefly what I had experienced. She listened attentively, then nodded and spoke:

“Judging by what you said and comparing it with today, yes, if we harm nature in this way, it could be our possible end. We need to think and do something together to leave a good future for the next generations.”

"Come, let's go to the field ahead,” he said and started walking ahead.

As I walked with him, a sound from deep in the forest caught my attention. An eye appeared through the leaves. At first I was frightened, but then I realized it was a human being, wearing an old uniform, beads of sweat on his forehead.

“You... you're not from this century, are you?” he asked in a whisper. There was a glimmer of hope mixed with doubt in her eyes. I didn't know what to say, I just nodded. Nature approached me, both of us watching him with cautious but curious eyes.

He took us to a small, secret hut. Inside there was a group of people working with computers and maps. As soon as Nature stepped inside, we were greeted as if we had been waiting for her for a long time. They were people who, like me, knew the future. They called themselves “Time Travelers”. Their mission was to stop the world before disaster struck. They were planning the right steps to prevent the rise of Artificial Intelligence and the birth of the Water Kings.

“We have waited so long to communicate with you,” said an old woman who was their leader. “But now the time has come. We have the seeds, you have the knowledge. We will write the future together.”

Just then, there was a humming outside. When I looked out the window of the hut, I saw a strange vehicle spinning in the sky. It had a familiar symbol on it: BioPolice!

The shadows of the future had already opened the door to the past...

The humming was getting louder. Everyone in the hut was suddenly on high alert. They called the leader woman Ana, and she quickly moved to a control panel. As she pressed the buttons with steady fingers, the number and location of the BioPolice vehicles began to appear on the screens inside.

“We've been found,” Ana said. “Now we either fight together or succumb to the passage of time.”

Doğa rushed to my side and took my hand. “We need your knowledge, Deniz,” she said. “Do you know the weaknesses of BioPolis?”

I nodded. Yes, in the future I had gathered clues about the energy source BioPolis worked with. They used a special plasma battery system. They were vulnerable to extreme heat and organic dust. I shared this information.

Ana quickly came up with a plan: There was an old hydroelectric power plant hidden deep in the forest. We could use it to send an electromagnetic pulse (EMP) to the BioPolice vehicles, temporarily disabling their systems and covering our tracks.

“We need to buy time,” Ana said. “And this is just the beginning.”

We all ran out of the hut, my heart pounding as we made our way through the trees. Doğa stopped for a moment and gave me a small pouch. Inside were specially processed seeds.

“These,” she whispered, ”will be the foundation of the forests of the future. Protect them, no matter what.”

The journey was rough. Several times we were caught by BioPolis' reconnaissance drones, which Doğa and the other time travelers skillfully disguised. We finally arrived at the old power plant, the building was in ruins, but Ana's team had the knowledge to get it up and running quickly.

I helped; the knowledge I had learned in the future came in handy. When they started the power plant, a huge wave of energy spread across the sky. In an instant, the BioPolice vehicles trembled in the air, their lights went out and they slowly fell to the ground.

We hugged each other in joy, but Ana kept a serious face.

“It was just a warning,” she said. “BioPolis will come back with greater forces. We, the defenders of time, must be ready.”

In a few days we set up a secret base in the forest and started training the next generation of children to protect the future. Seeds were planted, natural farming methods were taught, technology was redesigned to be environmentally friendly.

But at night, when I looked up at the stars, the same thought always gnawed at my mind: Would I really be able to change time, or would the past one day become the nightmare of the future?

Doğa came to me quietly one night. She was holding an old, almost completely erased map. “I found this in Ana's archive last night,” she said in a whisper. “It shows a secret passage to the true center of the Water Kings. BioPolis' greatest source of energy is hidden there.” My heart skipped a beat. This was our chance to end it all once and for all. But there was a note in a corner of the map that really got me thinking: “A mistake in the past can spell the end of the future.” Was this a warning, or was there some other break in time that we still didn't know about? “We should go,” I said, ”but not just to find the portal. Maybe to remember other truths that the past has forgotten.”

Together with Doğa, we set off towards the pass on the map. As we walked, the quiet whispering voice of n Doğa was drawing me in. The drops of water seeping through the roots, the smell of pine carried by the wind were living proof of a world I thought was only in my memories. Along the way, Doğa explained the concept of ecological citizenship to me. “True citizenship is not just about voting,” she said, ”but about taking care of the land you live in, the air you breathe and the water you drink. We are no longer just a species, but stewards of the planet.” These words touched me.

I suddenly realized that ecological citizenship was not only about protecting the environment; it was a state of consciousness that respected the right to life of every living thing, questioned what it consumed, and did not see nature as separate from itself.

When we arrived at the gate, we were greeted by a huge metal gate covered with ivy. The gate could be opened not only with a fingerprint, but also with “intention”. In other words, it could only be passed by someone who really wanted to protect nature. I took out my seed pouch and stroked the soil with my hand. “I am here because I want to preserve not only today, but also tomorrow,” I whispered. The door slowly opened. Inside were traces of a lost civilization where technology coexisted peacefully with nature. It was proof that sustainability was possible, that man could live in harmony with nature. Ecological citizenship was no longer a duty, but a way of life. At that moment I understood: Changing the future starts with awakening nature within oneself.

As the pair moved deeper into the tunnel, the temperature began to rise, and the air grew heavier with every step. The walls were lined with ancient roots intertwined with glowing wires, pulsing gently like veins of a living organism. Doğa reached out and touched one, and a flicker of images burst into their minds—flashes of the old world, before the Water Kings, when forests stretched to the horizon and children played under real rain. It was as if the tunnel was not only a path through space, but through memory itself.

As Deniz and Doğa stepped through the passage, they found themselves in an enchanting world. It was a hidden place where, long ago, nature and technology had coexisted in harmony. Crystal-clear streams flowed between the trees, houses generated their own energy, and robots could speak with birds. The sight filled Deniz with hope. “So there is still a chance,” he said excitedly. Doğa, on the other hand, smiled quietly. “This is where the lost wisdom lives. But something is being kept from us…”

Just then, a tremor rose from beneath the ground, shaking the earth beneath their feet. A wall slowly slid open, revealing a dark tunnel. At its entrance, a sentence lit up in glowing letters: “The future is a mirror of the past.” Deniz and Doğa exchanged a look. Perhaps this was where the Water Kings’ energy source lay… or perhaps a far greater secret awaited them.

Clutching the pouch of seeds tightly in their hands, they stepped cautiously toward the tunnel. A soft humming from within grew louder and louder. Was it the sound of a machine—or the echo of time itself? They couldn’t tell. Deniz took a deep breath and whispered, “Are you ready?” Doğa nodded. And just as they stepped inside, two eyes gleamed in the darkness…

After a long walk, they entered a wide chamber. In its center was a levitating sphere, surrounded by rotating rings etched with inscriptions in a forgotten language. The sphere pulsed with a golden light—calm yet immensely powerful. Deniz immediately recognized it from his studies in the future. This was the Core of Continuum, a mythical relic believed to sustain both nature and the artificial systems of the world. If corrupted, it could give rise to absolute control—like that of BioPolis. But if harmonized, it could restore balance to the planet.

The moment the seeds touched the glowing surface, a wave of light swept through the room, awakening the dormant roots around them. A warm breeze circled them, and the inscriptions on the rings translated into a message: “The world is not inherited from our ancestors, but borrowed from our children.”

Then, without warning, a deep mechanical voice echoed through the chamber. “Unauthorized interaction with the Core. Initiating Containment Protocol.” A hidden door opened and several humanoid figures emerged—early prototypes of BioPolis enforcers. But unlike those Deniz had fought in the future, these moved slower, almost as if confused. Doğa turned to Deniz with urgency in her voice: “This is our moment. If we realign the Core now, the timeline may still shift.” Deniz nodded, placed his palm on the sphere, and with all his focus, began to project a single thought: A future where nature and humanity thrive together. The Core pulsed one final time—and everything went silent.
