I’m attending the first year of Nursing. 

I choose to become a nurse because I like helping and talking care about other people. One of my best skill is empathy, because I am able to understand other people’s feeling and emotions. 
I’m sensitive but at the same time I am ready to solve difficult situations. 

I have decided to be a nurse since I was five for a particular event: Carnival. I had always a nurse mask and I start to think it could have been my future job. 

In addition, when I was a teenager, I start to watch tv series like Grey’s Anatomy or Chicago Med.

It was my choice even if my mum or my grandparents let me think that it could have been my job,
my ideal job. 

There is a doctor, a nurse and Ludovica, a patient that should be operated in the morning. 

DOCTOR: Hello Ludovica! How are you this morning? 

PATIENT: Good morning! I feel well even if a little bit nervous for the operation.

DOCTOR: Don’t care! It is easy! 

NURSE: If you are calm it would pass in a couple of days. 

PATIENT: I trust you! 

DOCTOR: For these two days before operation you don’t have to eat nothing you can only drink tea, chamomile or water.

PATIENT: Can I have a glass of orange juice ? I really like it. 

NURSE: No, dear you should wait two days after operation and you can drink what you want!

DOCTOR: I promise you chocolate and sweets but now you have to sleep. See you later! 

NURSE: Bye Ludo!

PATIENT: Bye!
