As I reflect on the hard work of my own and of my classmates, I would like to present to you what I'm walking away with. Some of the reflections are in result of the COVID-19 pandemic and how it has shifted the instructional duties of the school librarian and the devastating impact it has had on school librarians and funding for their programs.
Thank you for a successful semester!

She has been helping out with progress-monitoring and shared her concerns with me that she is low on the totem-pole. School librarians are still having to prove their worth and expertise to school administrators and school communities. The professionalism of the librarian is not respected among some school districts-- specifically the example she gave in her presentation ((Knowledge of Students & Student Learning, 1.1 and Collaboration & Professional Responsibilities, 6.1, 6.2, 6.3, 6.4). Terrible!
