I think this is effective because it is uncomplicated and clear, but this would not convince me because I do not like tomato ketchup and it does not give any impression that it might taste good or not. the tag line gives the impression that you can grow ketchup straight from the ground rather that the ingredients making it naturally occurring. By using the phrase "Goal-line technology" they are directing their product at a limited audience - people who like football and this would most likely be men - other people who are not interested in football will understand that it is supposed to be new and modern technology but would not immediately respond to the football reference. Then saying "from £25" conveys that it is great value for money and others would charge more for this new and technologically advanced product. i do not think this advert is effective. this is because they use glasses that are a bit boring and brown that defiantly do not look as thought they are "goal-line technology". there is only one pair of glasses that are quite male so the audience is small and limited to men who enjoy football and who want to save money. Other people would not be attracted to this offer. it is also boring and plain and does not attract the eye. created our Vox Pops we decided to use a camera and tripod and take them to the market ground outside the harvey centre because it was one of the few places that we did not need a licence or someones permission  to film there. Once we set everything up we then discovered that it can be difficult getting the courage to ask complete strangers questions. But soon enough we found an elderly couple who were willing to talk, later a man came up to us and was very nice and willing to chat - we only realised later as we were filming that he was probably mentally impaired. these were the only people who we managed to get to talk to us because the other either said they ere too busy or didn't want to be filmed. Also it doesn't help that we were very nervous and struggle getting enough courage to make the leap of asking people. The top left hand picture is of people partying and being drunk and out of control. On the right is a car crash, because drinking and driving will get you and other people killed.
