I think its a mixture of both Nature & nurture as you inherit traits and characteristics from your parents through genes, for example you may smile or laugh the same way. Although the people you surround yourself with an the environment that you are raised in can also have an effect on your development and behavior. -AVA

I think nature does affect development but whether it is more or less than nurture depends on if they have any genetic conditions for example CDLS (which affects how quickly someone learns things) I see this in my sister because she has CDLS and at the age of 8 she still cannot run or do normal activities or speak yet. Because development may be slower or faster for some people depending on this. But for normal people without any genetic conditions I think nurture affects it more.

I think nurture affects human development more than nature. While we are born with genetic traits like height, eye colour, and natural abilities, our environment has a bigger influence on how we think, behave, and grow as people.
