Which can be approach   through experimental design and research evaluation (Gall, Borg and Gall,1996). 

Moreover, research can explain occurrence or phenomenon, and expect the consequences and how the intervention can change these consequences (Gall, Borg and Gall,1996).

For example, research that done as clinical trial to study type of drugs, Vitamin and supplement, or trail of new equipment to see how useful they are in improving the quality care of patient through evaluation research.  

Other example studying the habit ad lifestyle such as smoking, eating the fast food and how it correlated with chronic disease.

In my practice, research is done to at two levels namely clinical and non-clinical research. Clinical research involves evidence based practices or interventions that can be effectively incorporated in to practice for optimal patient care and safety. On clinical research involves the educational research carried out for improving skills in conducting a relevant research and in critically appraising research findings from across the world. Through research and trials, pharmacists can help physicians determine which drug therapies best treat various diseases. They bring an understanding of medicine and its uses to the clinical aspects of research. They gather data on the usage of medication and compile the information for further research. Pharmacists also review drug-usage patterns to determine which drugs are most effective and which drugs may be overprescribed or underutilized.

I can discuss with my manager to replace it based on evidence based research.
