Some things I will consider when purchasing a new item will be finding out where it was made. I will want to know if it was made under fair trade regulations. Also, the price of the item will help determine if the product was made under fair trade regulations. If it is unreasonably cheap, then it wasn't made under fair trade. Secondly, I will only buy things I need and not buy a new version of that item often to help reduce waste and help save the environment. If you buy a new phone every year, then there will be a lot of waste that will be hard to discard of.

Another thing to consider is where the clothes I buy are coming from.
