They have overtaken more than 100 Indian villages and started a forced-labor system which was call the encomienda which restricted the Indians from connecting with their Gods. In 1680, the Indians gather more than 8,000 warriors to go up against fewer than 200 settlers. The indians ended up killing many Spaniards and won the battle. This war took place in the Washington Territory. The Indians gather up an army in 1758 and manage to kill two miners before entering the war with the white settlers. This battle is very significant because not only were the white settlers were coming in to the west, but also a lot of immigrants from other countries are coming in and are overpopulating the territory in Washington.

This war occur in Detroit were the French were conquering territory. In 1762 the Pontiac enlisted an army to fight back against the French and ended up with great victory. In July however, the Indians happen to find the American colonists and ended up starting up another army to fight against the Americans. As a result a Treaty was formed in order to claim peac of the Potiancs.
