1. Khalil Gibran's The Prophet (2014)(animated film available on Netflix, short yet very soothing and uplifting)
2. Chains by Laurie Halse Anderson (2010) (a fantastic YA historical fiction book set during the American Revolution)
3. The Astonishing Life of Octavian Nothing, Traitor to the Nation by Matthew Tobin Anderson (2006) (another, stranger, historical fiction YA book set during the Revolution!)
3. Evita by Andrew Lloyd Webber (one of my favorite musicals, about the controversial yet inspiring First Lady of Argentina... the 1979 cast is by far the best!)
